"Digital" Is Not the Same as a Controlled Evidence Layer
Many laboratories describe themselves as digital because results can be exported, visualized or summarized in a dashboard. In a mining assay laboratory, that definition is not enough. The real operational risk sits below the dashboard: sample identity, custody events, instrument capture, QA/QC rules, batch holds, non-conformance records and the approval trail that connects a reported value back to the workflow that produced it.
