3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| onlims_consent | Essential (first-party) | Stores your cookie choice (accepted / essential only) | ~1 year |
| _ga, _ga_PFFQJ20K0T, _gid | Analytics · Google (third-party) | Google Analytics 4 (G-PFFQJ20K0T), IP-anonymised — set only if you accept | up to 2 years |
On your first visit a banner lets you Accept all or choose Essential only. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept; choosing "Essential only" keeps Google Analytics disabled. You can change your choice anytime by clearing the onlims_consent cookie (the banner will reappear).
4. Recipients and international transfers
We do not sell your data. We use service providers acting as processors: Google (Google Analytics, only with consent) and our hosting provider. Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside Canada/the EU; such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses / adequacy mechanisms). We disclose data only where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep contact data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship; analytics per Google Analytics' retention periods. Afterwards data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may request access to and correction of your personal information. If you are in the EU/EEA, under the GDPR you also have rights of erasure, restriction, objection, portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email contact@onlims.com.
You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in the EU/EEA, your local data protection authority.
7. Marketing communications (CASL)
We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every message includes an unsubscribe option.
8. Security and changes
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This policy may be updated; the current version is published on this page.
